A. Mohammed Shael AlSaadi is the CEO of Business Development & Strategy Sector at the Department of Economic Development (DED). He plays a strategic role in strengthening the competitiveness of Dubai’s business environment in line with the its reputation as a business and investment hub. Mr. AlSaadi joined DED in 2008 and has made significant contributions to streamlining business activities in Dubai and supporting investor relations with an emphasis on quality, eciency, transparency and modern technology. He is credited with developing a suite of smart services for Business Registration & Licensing (BRL) transactions and in contributing to improving the UAE’s global ranking in Doing Business year after year.

Marwan Alzarouni

Marwan Alzarouni currently holds the position of the Head of Information Services Department at Dubai Electronic Security Center. He is an Information Security professional with more than 17 years' experience. He was one of the first UAE nationals to embrace internet technology at its infancy where he created the UAE's first website on the World Wide Web. Marwan is lifetime member of a number of technology associations including the Internet Society (IS) as well as the Bitcoin foundation. He has published a number of blind peer reviewed publications on wide variety of subjects including digital forensics, information security and information superiority.
