Dr Irina Berezhnova Godchaux is a non-resident Research Fellow at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government.

She is a physician and public health professional with two decades of experience in HIV and TB prevention programs, Smoke Free Policy and Non-communicable disease prevention as well as in Program and Project Management, and Program Monitoring and Evaluation across Russia, Europe and CIS countries. 

She developed, led and taught courses designed for health care / public health professionals and managers. Her teaching interests lie in the following subject areas: Smoke Free Policy from elaboration to implementation and compliance measurement.
