Applications are invited from highly qualified individuals with excellent research, teaching, and training profiles for the posts of Associate Professor/Professor of Public Administration. Candidates should have a long-term interest in the Middle East and be prepared to conduct research on specific topics related to public administration in the region. Successful applicants will provide academic leadership in delivering the graduate-level portfolio of Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in public administration and related fields. The Associate Professor/Professor of Public Administration will be expected to maintain an active research agenda on topics relevant to government excellence in the UAE, GCC or the wider MENA region. This will include publishing policy briefs and reports under the School’s name. Our language of instruction is English, however, in public administration, we offer two programs, one in Arabic and another in English. Hence the requirement of Arabic/English bilingual ability is a must for this particular post. Industry/government work or consulting experience, especially government excellence models, is a plus. In addition, experiences with policy research as well as delivering executive education programs are desirable. Flexibility and teamwork skills are key success factors.
