Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government Celebrates UAE Flag Day

Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), a research and teaching institution focusing on public policy in the Arab world, today joined the nation in celebrating the UAE Flag Day.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, MBRSG coordinated with other government institutions in the country to simultaneously hoist the national flag to commemorate the landmark anniversary of the ascension of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan as leader of the country.

The UAE flag was hoisted at the headquarters of MBRSG, in the presence of His Excellency Dr Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President, MBRSG, as well as faculty members and staff of the School.

Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency Dr Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri said: “The UAE flag is the symbol of our unity and national pride. It embodies our determination to achieve our goals and emerge as one of the leading nations of the world. MBRSG takes this opportunity to renew its allegiance and loyalty to our beloved country and its wise leadership. We pledge to work harmoniously towards achieving our strategic goal of national progress and prosperity as envisioned in the UAE Vision 2021.”

“Today the UAE continues to thrive as it journeys along the road to progress following in the foot-steps of our founding fathers, led by our first President, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Our leadership under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum are committed to following the illustrious example of these stalwarts in ensuring the greater prosperity for the citizens and residents of the UAE.”
