MOI Youth and Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government organize youth session

The Ministry of Interior's Youth Council, in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, recently hosted a youth dialogue session titled "Readiness for a Sustainable Future" at the Millennium Al Rawda Hotel in Abu Dhabi. This initiative is part of our joint efforts to foster knowledge exchange, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability.

The event was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government. Also in attendance were several Ministry of Interior officials, esteemed faculty members, and students from the Police and Mohammed bin Rashid Schools of Government.

Throughout the session, discussions revolved around four key themes: the "Fifty Principles," preparedness for the future, an overview of the Conference of the Parties (COP28), sustainable development goals, and the global initiative concerning the role of law enforcement agencies in addressing climate change. In his opening remarks, Major General Al Khaili emphasized the UAE's profound commitment to its youth, recognizing them as the nation's most valuable asset in shaping its future.

He underscored the leadership's dedication to equipping youth with the necessary skills to design a prosperous future. Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al-Marri delved into the ten guiding principles that will steer the UAE's trajectory over the next five decades, shaping its economic, political, and developmental journey.

Brigadier General Mohammed Butti Al Shamsi shed light on the Ministry of Interior's pivotal role in sustainable development and environmental protection, highlighting the Ministry's dedication to realizing the wise leadership's vision for the Year of Sustainability.
